Woll Named Goaltender of the Month for December

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Joseph Woll has been named the Stop It Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for December, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Woll went 2-1-1 in four December starts with a 1.23 goals against average, .956 save percentage, and two shutouts, the most of any Hockey East netminder. He posted a shutout streak of 184 minutes which spanned more than nine periods from Nov. 30 to Dec. 7.Â
The junior currently ranks 11th nationally with a .929 save percentage. He has led Boston College to a 6-2-2 mark in the last 10 outings and into a tie with UMass for first place in Hockey East.
BC takes on 13th-ranked Arizona State in a two-game road series this weekend on Friday (Jan. 4) and Saturday (Jan. 5) at 9 p.m. (ET).Â
