Eagles Set for Busy Weekend in Cambridge

The Team Will be Competing Friday and Saturday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team continues its winter season this weekend as it competes in the Harvard Multi Meet on Friday, Jan. 11, and the Beantown Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 12.

Harvard Multi Meet
Â
Sophomore Jessica Creedon looks to build on her impressive performance in the pentathlon. In last year's ACC Indoor Championships, she finished 9th with 3589 points, which was a rookie record.

Beantown Challenge
Â
In last year's meet, the team finished 3rd with 75 points. The team hopes to improve on that finish, lead by Senior Gianna Bender, who will look to build on her early success in the 1000-meter run. At the Howlin' Husky Invitational in December, Bender finished 1st in the 1000-meter with a time of 2:51:00.

In last season's meet, Sophomore Kylee Raftis earned fourth place in the one mile run with a time of 5:08.38. Senior Paige Duca finished 1st in the one mile run, crossing the line in 4:53.83.
