CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that Boston College and Temple will kickoff at noon on Sept. 29 at Alumni Stadium. It is Parents' Weekend at the Heights as the Eagles and Owls renew a rivalry that first began in 1936.
The old BIG EAST foes have played 37 times in school history with BC leading the all-time series 28-7-2. It will be the first game between Temple and BC since a 34-17 BC win in 2004.
The game will be televised byESPN2 or ESPNU. The television network will be determined following this weekend's games.
Boston College returns to action Saturday, Sept. 22 at Purdue in the first meeting between the two schools. BC looks to start the season 4-0 for the first time since 2007 and just the fifth time overall since 1955. Kickoff is set for noon with live coverage on ESPN2 and the BC IMG Sports Network.
