Full 2018-19 Men's Basketball Schedule Released

Dates, times, and televsion clearances announced for BC's 18 ACC contests
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) released its men's basketball schedule this morning, featuring the dates, times, and coverage for all 18 of Boston College's league games in 2018-19. Home and away team pairings had been previously announced this past April.
The Eagles - coming off a 19-win season in 2017-18 and a trip to the postseason - open up with three of their first four conference games away from Conte Forum. BC opens ACC play at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Jan. 5.
On Wednesday, Jan, 9, Boston College hosts Virginia in the home conference opener with a 9 p.m. tipoff that will air nationally on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. Following the home opener, BC heads back on the road for trips to Notre Dame on Jan. 12 and Louisville on Jan. 16.
The remaining home schedule for Boston College is as follows: Jan. 20 vs. Florida State; Jan. 30 vs. Syracuse; Feb. 2 vs. Notre Dame; Feb. 12 vs. Pittsburgh; Feb. 17 vs. Miami; Feb. 27 vs. Louisville; March 5 vs. North Carolina; with the regular season finale set for March 9 against N.C. State.
After the road swing to start the conference slate, the Eagles will also travel to: Jan. 26 at Wake Forest; Feb. 5 at Duke; Feb. 9 at Syracuse; Feb. 20 at N.C. State; Feb. 23 at Clemson; and March 3 at Georgia Tech.
All 18 ACC contests will be televised, with six airing on the ESPN family of networks, three on Raycom Sports, and nine clearances on regional sports networks. Â
In total, the Eagles' 2018-19 schedule features 12 teams that earned NCAA Tournament bids a season ago. In the non-conference, BC will take on Providence and Texas A&M while also potentially taking on Final Four participant Loyola Chicago in the Fort Myers Tipoff in November. Nine ACC teams earned a bid into the field of 68 - Duke, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Two other league opponents - Louisville, Notre Dame, – participated in the NIT.
