Raftis Named ACC Performer of the Week

BC sophomore picks up her first conference honor
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Sophomore Kylee Raftis has been named the ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week after her individual overall win at the Sean M. Nassaney Memorial Invitational on Sept. 8 in Smithfield, R.I.

Raftis crossed the line first in a field of 99 runners with a 5K time of 17:31.8. Led by Raftis, the Eagles claimed the team title with 24 points, 51 points over second-place Northeastern (75 points).

Boston College will host the sixth-annual Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown next Friday, Sept. 21, at Franklin Park.Â
