ACC Preseason Women’s Cross Country Poll

Eagles ranked No. 13 by league coaches

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country program has been ranked No. 13 in the ACC Cross Country Coaches' Preseason Poll, released by the conference on Thursday.

Two-time defending champion NC State is ranked first, followed by Notre Dame and Louisville at second and third, respectively. No. 4 Virginia Tech and No. 5 Syracuse round out the top five.

Earlier this week, the Eagles were ranked No. 12 in Northeast Region when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its Preseason Regional Rankings.

Boston College kicks off the season Sept. 8 at the Nassaney Invitational, hosted by Bryant University, in Smithfield, R.I.
