
Eagles Take All Three Races against BU

BC won two races handily
BOSTON – The Boston College rowing team won all three races against crosstown-rival Boston University in its second home meet of the season on Saturday. The second varsity four and third varsity eight boats competed against Northeastern the same day.

In the varsity eight event, the Eagles and Terriers fought the entire length of the course. BC pulled ahead in the last few strokes to win by a small margin.Â

The Eagles took the lead early in the second varsity eight event to win by 28 seconds. The varsity four also pulled ahead early to win by 45 seconds.Â

The second varsity four and third Varsity eight both came in second Northeastern.

The Eagles race Holy Cross and Connecticut on Sunday in Worcester, Mass.
