Member of the BC “B” boat that place fifth at the Green Monster Regatta (Nov. 6) ... was a member of the Freshmen Eight “B” boat that placed sixth with a time of 13:52.2 at the Foot of the Charles (Nov. 12) … earned the Athletics Director’s Award for Academic Achievement.
BEFORE BC:
Rowed at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School … Placed first in the MPSRA Varsity 4+ in the fall of 2015 and spring of 2016 State Championships … Finished third at the Northeast Youth Championships and ninth at the Nation Championships in the Varsity 4+ in 2016 … Also competed in the Head of the Charles in 2015 in the Varsity 8+.
PERSONAL:
Is the only child of Bill and Joanne Murphy … An AP Scholar with Honor and a member of the National Honor Society … Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management Honors Program.
