Gereon Heitmann notches a singles win for men's tennis
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Boston College men's tennis team fell to University of Nevada – Las Vegas, 6-1, Thursday evening on the road.

Despite UNLV clinching the doubles point, the pairing of sophomore Max Palmer and graduate Gereon Heitmann slated a win in doubles competition, 6-3.

After UNLV winning the first singles point and taking a 2-0 advantage on the match, Heitmann notched the first Eagles' point, defeating his opponent from the No. 2 position, 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (8).

Heitmann was the sole Eagles singles win on the day.

Up next, the Eagles will get back into ACC play, traveling to Charlottesville, Va. March 16 to battle University of Virginia at 3 p.m.
