Eagles Dropped by Virginia

Men's tennis fell 5-2
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Boston College men's tennis team fell to Virginia, 5-2, Friday afternoon at Snyder Tennis Center.
The Cavaliers took the doubles point despite the pairing of seniors Kent Mukai and Conor Mullins winning 6-2 from the No. 3 spot.
Virginia clinched the lead after singles wins at No. 1, 2 and 4 spots before the Eagles could notch a point at the No. 3 spot after freshman Chris Grasel notched a three set win, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).
Freshman Markus Nordby added the second BC point from the No. 5 spot, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (8-6).
Up next, the Eagles will head to Louisville to play Sunday, March 18.
