Eagles Avoid Sweep at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Boston College men's tennis team dropped a Sunday morning road match, 6-1, to Louisville.

The pairing of sophomore Max Palmer and graduate Gereon Heitmann slated a 6-4 win at the No. 2 spot to halt the chance of a Cardinal sweep of the doubles point, but Louisville took an early one-point advantage.

After wins at the first three singles positions, Louisville clinched the match.

Senior Kent Mukai was able to slate a point for the Eagles before the match ended, avoiding a sweep.

Up next, the Eagles will return to host Virginia Tech for a Friday afternoon match at 4 p.m. in Flynn Recreation Complex.
