Anastos Named To All-ACC Academic Team

Boston College graduate senior Andie Anastos was named to the 2017-18 All-ACC Women's Basketball Academic Team, as announced by the conference today.
A native of Farmington Hills, Mich., Anastos joined the women's basketball team in May after playing four seasons with the BC women's hockey team.
In her first season, Anastos started 27 games and played in 28. She averaged 33.2 minutes, six points, led the team in assists and had 27 steals. She shot 44 percent from the floor and 47.6 percent from the three-point arc.
Anastos, a team captain, led the team in defensive charges with 17. She posted her career-high of 15 points in the final game against North Carolina on Wednesday.
She will graduate from BC in May with a master's degree in leadership and administration from the Wood School. She earned her undergraduate degree in May of 2017 from the Lynch School of Education as an applied psychology and human development major.
