Eagles Struggle in First Spring Tournament

Ailin Li was Eagles top finisher at 53rd

Boston College placed last at the Gold Rush Invitational hosted by Long Beach State in California. The Eagles finished the three-round tournament at +85 (315, 312, 322 – 949). Georgia won the tournament at +19, while BYU was second at +24 and Colorado State placed third at +28.

Junior Ailin Li was the Eagles top finisher at +19 as she placed 53rd in the tournament. She shot a 79, 76 and 80 (235) in the three-round tournament. Rookie Bibilani Liu placed 56^th as she shot a 78, 77 and 81 (236) in the tournament.

Senior Jocelyn Chia placed 66^th at +24. She shot two rounds of 79 and finished with a 82 in the final round (240). Freshman Lauren Kim placed T68 at +25. She was +25 with her best round a 79 in the last round while junior Katie Kim placed 72^nd with her best round a 79 on the first day.
