Eagles Named a NCAA Division I All-Academic Team

BC excelled both on the course and in the classroom during the 2017 season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country team was named to the 2017 NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Academic Teams, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Feb. 9.
The honor is granted to well-rounded teams that excel in both the classroom and on the cross country course. The women finished the 2017 cross country season with a team GPA of 3.25.
Overall, there were 423 teams that brought home All-Academic honors. BC was one of 228 women's programs that was recognized. UC Davis led all programs with a 3.85 GPA.
Boston College will return 20 runners in the 2018 season, including eight rising seniors.
