Eagles' Dominant Second Half Leads to Win at Pitt

How It Happened
Boston College erased a 15-point first half deficit, outscoring Pittsburgh, 49-24, in the second half en route to an 81-58 win at the Petersen Events Center.
BC started the game missing its first seven shots and trailed 8-0 to start the game. A Ky Bowman layup with 10:00 to play in the half made it 15-12. Pitt then started a 13-1 run to extend its lead to 15, at 28-13 with 7:17 left in the period.
The Eagles countered with a 19-4 run, tying the game with 49 seconds left in the half on two Nik Popovic free throws. Pitt led 34-32 at the break.
An 11-0 run to start the second half gave Boston College the lead for good, building a 10-point lead - 50-40 - on a Jerome Robinson jumper with 13:37 to play. The Eagles never let up, shooting 61.3% (19-31) in the second half, building as much as a 23-point advantage.
