CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. –  Boston College improved to 8-1 on the season with an 83-46 victory over Bryant on Thursday night in a non-conference game at Conte Forum. The Eagles will host No. 14/18 Minnesota on Sunday at 2. Bryant is now 2-7 and will travel to Hartford on Sunday.

Junior Taylor Ortlepp had a team-high 15 points with six steals, while freshman Makayla Dickens finished with 11 points, five rebounds and a career-high seven assists. Sophomore Milan Bolden-Morris chipped in with 15 points, as she hit four three-pointers in the final quarter.

Boston College opened up the game with a 13-2 run, with nine of the points on the fast break. Bryant was held scoreless for 5:25 in the quarter and the Eagles took a 22-6 lead after one quarter.

Bryant never recovered at Boston College build a 40-19 halftime lead. The Eagles had 22 points in the paint and 13 second chance points.

A 13-4 run aided by three three-pointers, two from Ortlepp and one from Dickens gave the Eagles a 30-point lead with five minutes to go in the third quarter. The Eagles made 5-for-8 from the arc in the quarter and held a 65-34 lead going into the final ten minutes.

The long-range shooting continued as Bolden-Morris would hit four-of-five from the three-point line for 12 points in the final quarter.
