Junior Taylor Ortlepp leads Eagles with 19 points.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior guard Taylor Ortlepp continued her dominance from beyond the arc, draining 15 of her 19 points in a decisive, 78-51, Boston College (9-2) victory over Boston University (4-5), Sunday afternoon.

Ortlepp was nearly perfect from the floor, finishing seven-of-nine, including five-of-seven from three-point range. Over the last three games, Ortlepp netted 14-of-25 from beyond the arc (56 percent) and averaged 19.7 points.

Boston College set the tone early, jumping out to a 14-1 run which. Ortlepp, who netted back-to-back three pointers, registered 10 points in the first quarter. The Eagles kept their foot on the accelerator in the second period. Junior forward Emma Guy posted double figure rebounds in the first half as the Eagles went into the locker room with the 20-point, 36-16 advantage.

Coming off the bench in the third quarter, sophomore guard Sydney Lowery notched eight of her 12 points, which included a perfect four-of-four from the charity stripe. Classmate, Milan Bolden-Morris was right behind her knocking down two-of-three from the outside for six points in the third period.

Freshman guard Marnelle Garraud closed out the game, leading the Eagles with five points in the final period of play.
