CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's basketball team is currently 6-1 and averaging 81.7 points per game. If you have not seen the Eagles play yet, fans have six home games in the month of December to come check out the young Eagles.
BC opens up the six-game home stand on Sunday, Dec. 2 against Columbia. The two teams met last year in the Bronx and BC fell to the Lions at their Youth Day event. This will be only the second game between the two teams.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, the Eagles will host No. 20 ranked Minnesota at 2 p.m. The Golden Gophers led the overall series, 3-0. This will be the first ranked team the BC plays this season. Minnesota is currently 5-0 and host No, 12 Syracuse tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
The following Sunday Boston College will host Commonwealth Ave. rival Boston University at 4 p.m. The Terriers have a new head coach Marisa Moseley, a former BU player. This will be the 25th meeting between the two teams with BC leading the overall series, 13-11.
Boston College will then host Colgate on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. This will be the final game before Christmas break. The Eagles will return to action at Conte Forum on Saturday, Dec. 29, as Dartmouth will come to Chestnut Hill for a 2 p.m. tip.
