Eagles Host Virginia for Last Home Game of 2018

The volleyball team looks to beat their all-time ACC record with a fifth conference win tomorrow
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College volleyball team (14-14, 4-12 ACC) hosts conference opponent Virginia (8-19, 4-13 ACC) in their final home game of the 2018 campaign tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in Power Gym. The team welcomes former campers for Camper Reunion Day. A fifth conference win would secure the Eagles' new all-time ACC conference record in a single season.
The Eagles are coming off of a hard-fought win over Virginia Tech, 3-2. BC took the first and second sets before Virginia Tech bounced back, taking three and four. The Eagles pursued and found a 16-14 final score in set five for the win. Clare Naughton led the home team with a double-double of 13 kills and 13 digs. McKenna Goss tallied a team-high 19 kills en route to the win.
The Eagles and Cavaliers met for the first time in early October, where Virginia took the match in five sets. The Eagles had set two and four while the Cavaliers grabbed one, three and five. Â
Virginia is led by Sarah Billiard, who has a team-high 358 kills so far this season. Kelsey Miller has tallied 400 digs while Megan Wilson has 686 assists. Defensively, Milla Ciprian has 101 total blocks on the season.
The team wraps up the season with a 7:00 p.m. tilt at Clemson on Friday night.
