
No. 4 Boston College Set to Host Rival Boston University Tuesday Night

It'll be the 53rd edition of the Battle of Comm Ave.
Boston College (10-3-0, 7-1-0 HEA) comes into the game off a pair of wins over UConn in a home-and-home series this past weekend. Maddy McArthur posted back-to-back shutouts, making 17 saves in Friday's 3-0 road win and 16 save in Saturday's 4-0 win at home. Caitrin Lonergan, Makenna Newkirk, Cayla Barnes and Megan Keller each tallied three points over the two wins while 10 players total contributed to the score sheet. In Friday's win, Olivia Finocchiaro potted her first career goal. McArthur was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week on Monday for her two shutouts. Lonergan (6-8-14), Newkirk (4-10-14), Keller (6-8-14) and Daryl Watts (8-6-14) are tied for the team lead in points with 11 each.
Boston University (3-3-4, 3-3-4 HEA) comes into Tuesday's game on a three-game unbeaten streak following a win and tie against Vermont this past weekend. The Terriers topped the Catamounts, 3-0, behind Corinne Schroeder's first career shutout before playing to a 3-3 tie on Saturday. Jesse Compher has a team-high 16 points on six goals and a team-leading 10 assists. The sophomore has scored two game-winning goals and two short-handed goals. The Terriers have only played Hockey East games this season.Â
Tuesday's meeting, which is the first of three between the teams in a span of 12 days, will the 53rd in the series. BC holds a record of 28-17-7 in the series, including a 12-7-4 record at Conte Forum.
