Boston College will travel to Texas to play the Houston Cougars at the H&PE Arena on the campus of Texas Southern on Sunday at 2 p.m. (ET).

The Eagles are coming off an 89-63 victory over Holy Cross on Thursday. BC was led by two freshmen – Makayla Dickens and Marnelle Garraud – with 19 points apiece. Boston College won the battle of the boards for the third consecutive game, 41-23.

Houston is now 2-2 after a 79-60 victory over Incarnate Word on Friday. The Cougars first win this season came against Georgia Tech, 95-89, in double-overtime. Houston has lost at California and at Louisiana Tech.

BC is currently averaging 88.7 points, 52.7 rebounds and 21.3 assists per game.

- This will be the fourth meeting between BC and Houston.
- Boston College leads the overall series, 2-1.
- Last season, the Eagles defeated the Cougars, 79-74, at Conte Forum. Taylor Ortlepp tallied 21 points, while hitting 10-for-10 from the foul line. Milan Bolden-Morris had 16 points and nine rebounds, while Sydney Lowery chipped in with 15 points.
- The first meeting between the Eagles and Cougars was in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament. BC defeated the Cougars, 65-43, at Cameron Indoor Stadium behind 23 points from Clare Droesch and a 17 point, 12 rebound effort from Brooke Queenan.
- The only other game between the two teams took place at the St. John's Tournament in New York in Dec. 2008. BC defeated Houston, 62-56, in the opening game.
