Delia Hayes leads BC with personal-best time
JAMAICA PLAIN, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country team had three Eagles race to personal-best times en route to a 10th-place finish with 291 points at the 2018 ACC Cross Country Championship on Friday morning at Franklin Park.

Senior Delia Hayes led the Eagles across the finish line, running a personal-best time of 21:24.8 to finish in 36th overall. Freshman Fian Sullivan Sweeney finished in 53rd at 21:46.2 while junior Paige Duca followed in 56th at 21:48.9, the second and third Eagles, respectively, to finish the 6K course.

Freshman Anna Oeser's time of 22:06.0 was good for 75th while sophomore Lauren White's personal-record time of 22:14.7 put her in 85th to round out the scored Eagles.

NC State claimed its third-straight title with 67 points. Notre Dame placed second with 68 points, followed by Syracuse in third with 83 points.

Louisville's Dorcas Wasike won the individual title in a time of 20:08.1.

- Sophomore Colleen Sliney raced to a time of 22:35.7, 106th overall. Freshman Kayla Smith's time of 22:43.2 was good for 111th while sophomore Kylee Raftis placed 112th with a  time of 22:46.4.
- The Eagles improved three spots from the 2017 ACC Championship to 10th overall with 291 points.
