The Eagles are coming off of two successful home meets as they kicked off the season on a positive note. For the first meet of their season, both the men's and women's teams took overall first place for the annual New England Catholic Invitational Meet. The following weekend, the Eagles hosted Bryant in a dual meet, taking overall first for both teams.
The men's team raked in 183 points while Bryant earned 115 and the women's team earned 215 points to Bryant's 85.
The meet was highlighted by over 20 first-place performances from the home squad: Ali Kea, Michael Hinton, Maura Grimes, Taylor Covington, Taylor Cortens, Victoria Lin, Damion Ribeiro, Ellie Uhl, Robert McCrory, Max Threlkeld, Grace Edwards, Alexa Lantin, Zander Santana and Gabriella Taghian all earned first-place finishes. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Ashleigh Scott, Julie Dobson, Aileen Coyne and Ali Kea earned first place while Michael Hinton, Sam Roche, Zander Santana and Max Threlkeld took the first spot in the same event for the men's team.
