Eagles Release Full 2017-18 Schedule

Duke comes to Conte Forum for ACC opener Dec. 9
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Atlantic Coast Conference has released the 2017-18 men's basketball schedule which features 18 games starting on December 9. Boston College also released its non-conference schedule which opens on November 10 at Conte Forum.

The 2017-18 season will open on Friday, Nov. 10 when the Eagles host Maine at Conte Forum. BC will also welcome South Carolina State (Nov. 12) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 14) before playing away from Chestnut Hill for five of its next six games.

The team will head to Mohegan Sun Arena to face Texas Tech (Nov. 18) in the first round of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament. The following day, BC will face either LaSalle or Northwestern.

BC returns home to host Colgate (Nov. 22) before a three-game road stretch at Providence (Nov. 25), Nebraska (Nov. 29) as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and Hartford (Dec. 2).

The ACC schedule opens on Saturday, Dec. 9, when Boston College hosts national-power Duke in a game televised by ESPN. The Eagles will then take on Columbia (Dec. 12), Central Connecticut State (Dec. 17) and Richmond (Dec. 23) in non-conference action. BC will conclude its non-conference schedule by hosting Dartmouth on Jan. 13.

The Eagles open the rest of their conference slate on the road at Virginia (Dec. 30) before hosting Clemson (Jan. 3) and Wake Forest (Jan. 6).

Three of the next four league games will be on the road, beginning at North Carolina (Jan. 9), the defending national champion. BC will host Florida State (Jan. 15) before traveling to Louisville (Jan. 21) and Syracuse (Jan. 24) for a couple of road contests.

Jim Christian and the Eagles will host Virginia Tech (Jan. 31) and Georgia Tech (Feb. 4) before traveling to Notre Dame (Feb. 6) for the first of two against the Irish. A home game against Miami (Feb. 10) and a road game at Pittsburgh (Feb. 13) will be played before Notre Dame (Feb. 17) makes the return trip to Chestnut Hill.

Three of the final four regular season games will be on the road starting at NC State (Feb. 20) and Miami (Feb. 24). The last home game will be against rival Syracuse (Feb. 28) and the season will wrap up at Florida State (March 3).

The 2018 New York Life ACC Tournament will be held March 6-10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
