Eagles to host Wake Forest on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Raleigh, N.C. – The Boston College women's soccer team lost to ACC foe NC State, 1-0, at Dail Soccer Stadium on Thursday night in Raleigh, North Carolina. Boston College is now 7-4-0 and 1-1-0 in the ACC. No. 24 NC State dropped to 8-1-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the conference.
With 40 seconds left in the match, NC State's midfielder Tziarra King scored her team-high seventh goal of the season to seal the win for the Wolfpack.
Junior goalkeeper Alexis Bryant played strong in goal as she had three saves. The loss ended the Eagles three-game win streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GOAL: NC State 1, Boston College 0 – 89th min: Sophomore Tziarra King carried the ball to the middle of the field, by two Eagles, and sent a long ball into the upper left side from 24 yards out for the lone goal of the match. It was her ACC leading seventh goal of the season.

GAME NOTES
- Boston College leads the overall series against NC State, 11-2. NC State has now won the last two matches against the Eagles.
- Senior Madison Kenny led the offense with two shots while Elysa Virella, Kayla Jennings, Sam Coffey and Olivia Vaughn all had one shot in the game.
- Freshmen Sam Coffey, Gianna Mitchell, Mijke Roelfsema and first-year transfer Elysa Virella all started for the 11th consecutive time this season. BC played 16 players in the match, 10 were either a freshman or sophomore.
- Junior Alexis Bryant had three saves in the loss. Bryant had three straight shutouts prior to tonight's loss.
- Senior defender Allyson Swaby has started every game this season and has played the full 90 in 10 of 11 games.
- The Eagles defense held NC State's offense at bay most of the game. The Wolfpack did not record a shot on goal until the 77th minute of the match.
