The Boston College sailing team continued its fall season this past weekend, racing in three regattas, one of which, the Central Series One, was hosted by the Eagles.

At the Central Series, the Eagles raced through nearly windless conditions, edging into the top half of the leader board, claiming seventh place overall.

Boston College saw better results at the Stu Nelson Regatta, hosted by Connecticut College in New London, Conn. There, the Maroon and Gold took third place after claiming a tie-breaking over Rhode Island. The teams finished even with 93 points scored on the weekend.

Finally, at the Hatch Brown Trophy hosted by MIT, the Eagles again used a tie-breaker to propel them to a higher finish. After the race was postponed to Sunday due to lack of wind, BC took second place overall after a tie at 60 points with Connecticut College was broken.

The Eagles will be in action next weekend with a slate of regattas lined up across the Northeast.
