Bahamas Trip Begins Today

Eagles will play pair of games on foreign trip
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's basketball team began its journey down to the Bahamas today where the Eagles will play a pair of games over the course of their six-day trip.
BC will face the CTG Knights on Saturday at 12 p.m. and then take on the NPBA All-Stars on Monday at 6 p.m. Both contests will be held at The Kendal G. L. Isaacs National Gymnasium in Nassau. The games will be governed by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and follow those rules.
The last time the Eagles went on a foreign trip was in 2012 when they played four games in Spain. The team visited Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
The squad will arrive in Nassau on Friday morning and have a practice at the game venue that afternoon. Monday will feature the second game with a morning shootaround. On Tuesday, the team will host a basketball clinic for the local community. They will then take a catamaran tour of the islands later in the day.
