Nine Eagles Named to HEA All-Academic All-Star Team

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore defenseman Michael Kim headlined the 2016-17 Hockey East All-Academic All-Star Team while eight other Eagles from the men's ice hockey team were also named to the list.
Kim was one of two defensemen with the highest GPA at that position from last season.
Including the nine Eagles, Hockey East posted boasted a record 149 student-athletes to its Academic All-Star Team this season, most in league history.
Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which he was actively competing.
Departed senior defenseman Scott Savage is one of 27 skaters to have made the list three times in their career.
