
Foley Adds Mijke Roelfsema To Incoming Class

The Boston College women's soccer team will add Mijke Roelfsema from The Netherlands to the 2017 incoming class, as announced by head coach Alison Foley this afternoon.

Roelfsema will join eight new faces to the Eagles roster for the 2017 season.

A central defender, Roelfsema currently plays for ADO Den Haag's women's team in the top division of Dutch football. She started in 16 of 19 games and notched one goal. Prior to playing for ADO, Roelfsema played from 2008-14 for VV Schoonhoven.

Roelfsema played for The Netherlands in the international friendly Women's Under-19 Tournament in La Manga, Spain in March of 2017. Roelfsema was also with the U-19 Team in June 2016, September 2016 and January 2017. She was also a member of the Under-17 National Team. She recently competed for the U-19 team at the European Championship qualifier in The Netherlands (Putten Apeldoorn).Â
