Lynn, Koeppel Named To The NEISA All-Conference Coed First Team

The Boston College sailing team placed third overall at the NEISA Coed Championship as hosted by The Coast Guard this past weekend.

The Eagles posted 226 points while Yale won the event with 201 points and Roger Williams placed second with 218 points.

The A Division team of Erika Reineke, Lizzie Bohan, Tara Ferraris, Fiona Walsh and Lily McGrath placed sixth. Scott Sinks, Harry Koeppel, Allison Ferraris and Hannah Lynn sailed in the B Division and the team placed second.

The team qualified for the Coed Nationals with the third place finish. The nationals will run from May 30 to June 2, hosted by the College of Charleston J. Stewart Walker Sailing Center, Mt. Pleasant South Carolina.

After the weekend of sailing, NEISA named the All-Conference Coed teams with Hannah Lynn and Harry Koeppel with first team honors. Allison Ferraris and Scott Sinks earned second team honors. Hannah was also a finalist for Conference Crew of the Year while Scott Rasmussen was a finalist for Conference Rookie of the Year.
