May 11, 2017 | Women's Golf
Freshman Lois Kaye Go was named to the All-ACC team, as announced by the conference this afternoon.
Go just finished competing at the NCAA Regional where she placed tied in 32nd place (73, 76, 73 – 222). She is only the second women's golfer at BC to advance to the NCAA regional.
A native of the Philippines, Go's scoring average was a team-low 72.29. She won the Dartmouth Invitational and Lady EagleCat Invitational this past season. Go opened her college career with a third place finish at the RedBird Invitational and a third at the Golfweek Program. After winning the Dartmouth Invitational, she placed fifth at Yale and second at Texas State.
Go, who was recently named BC's Athletics Rookie of the Year, finished tied in 21st place as she shot a 74 on the final day of play at the ACC Tournament in April. She was a +2 after the first day and was even on day two of action.
