
Borr, Dair Beat Two of Nation’s Best in Loss to No. 15 Duke

Borr defeats nation’s 24th-ranked player on Senior Day
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior Lexi Borr and junior Asiya Dair both defeated ranked opponents in the Boston College women's tennis team's 5-2 loss to No. 15 Duke on Sunday.
Borr played the final home match of her collegiate career and ended on a high note. The senior defeated No. 24 Meible Chi 6-1, 6-2 in second singles.
Dair earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory in first singles against No. 65 Samantha Harris. Dair and Borr have defeated nationally ranked opponents in their last two matches.
However, Duke (14-3, 8-0 ACC) won the doubles point and four singles matches.
Borr and senior Emily Safron were both honored on Senior Day.
The Eagles (9-10, 4-7 ACC) will next visit No. 6 Georgia Tech on Friday at 2 p.m.
