
Dair’s Hot Streak Continues in Loss to No. 6 Georgia Tech

Junior defeats nationally ranked opponent for third straight match
ATLANTA – The Boston College women's tennis team fell to No. 6 Georgia Tech, 5-2, in Friday's ACC road match.
The Eagles (9-11, 4-8 ACC) won two singles matches against one of the nation's top teams.
For the third match in a row, junior Asiya Dair defeated a nationally ranked opponent in straight sets in first singles. Dair defeated No. 42 Rasheeda McAdoo 6-4, 6-2.
Freshman Kylie Wilcox also earned a tiebreaker victory in fourth singles, defeating Georgia Tech's Kenya Jones 6-4, 6-7 (6-8), 1-0 (10-8).
Georgia Tech advanced to 21-2 overall and 11-0 in ACC play.
The Eagles will next visit No. 46 Clemson on Friday, April 21 at 2:30 p.m.
