Pair Earn Victories in Loss to No. 47 Clemson

Wilcox, Urbinati win singles matches
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Boston College women's tennis team fell to No. 47 Clemson, 5-2, in Friday's ACC road match.
The Eagles (9-12, 4-9 ACC) won two singles matches after Clemson earned the doubles point.
Freshman Kylie Wilcox earned a straight-set 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) victory in fourth singles against Clemson (11-11, 6-7 ACC).
Sophomore Jackie Urbinati defeated Daniela Ruiz in sixth singles 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
The Eagles will conclude the regular season at No. 30 Wake Forest on Sunday at 12 p.m. before turning attention to the ACC Championship next week in Rome, Ga.
