BC HIGHLIGHTS
- The Boston College men's track and field team competed in the Auburn Tiger Track Classic this weekend in Auburn, Ala.
- Senior Devaun Bovell kicked off the action for the Eagles on Saturday with a season-best time of 14.91 in the 110m hurdles.
-Sophomore Ian Ritchie led the way for BC in the 1500m. Taking fourth place overall, Ritchie set a new personal-best time of 3:52.88 in the event. Sophomore Andrew Willis ran his first competitive 1500m in 4:01.69, taking 13th place, while freshman Ryan Scanlon took 14th place in 4:02.68.
- Junior Nicholas Nash and senior Obinna Nwankwo represented the Eagles in the 400m with impressive performances. Both athletes posted new personal-best times, as Nash crossed the line for sixth place overall in 48.02, and Nwankwo eighth overall with his time of 48.08.
- In the 800m, sophomore Matthew Morano performed exceptionally, earning a new personal-best time of 1:53.58. Morano also took home fourth place overall in the event.
- The Eagles' duo of sophomore Michael Saxon and Mikhail Bethell took to the 400m hurdles. Saxon continued to impress in the event, going 55.69, while Bethell improved his personal-best time in the event to 56.97.
- Nash was back on the track later on in the meet to race in the 200m. Once again, Nash set a new personal-best time with his 22.00-second performance.
- The Eagles' 4x400m team closed out the meet on a high note for Boston College. The team of junior Robert Brennan, Nwankwo, Saxon and Nash combined for a fifth place overall finish with a relay time of 3:17.23.

The Eagles will be back in New England next weekend, participating in the Ocean State Invitational hosted by Brown and Providence Universities on Saturday April 15th.
