Apuzzo and Kent Selected to All-Tournament Team

The duo combined for 20 points in the ACC Championship.
RICHMOND, Va. – Boston College lacrosse's Sam Apuzzo and Kenzie Kent were among the 12 players selected for the All-Tournament team, which was announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference following the championship game on Sunday.

The Eagles were eliminated in the semifinals by the eventual ACC champion, North Carolina, but in BC's two games, Apuzzo and Kent were at the core of Boston College offense this past week.

The ACC's leading point-getter, Apuzzo shined in the tournament, tallying five goals and one assist against Notre Dame, followed by a four-goal performance against UNC. As for Kent, she also recorded 10 points: first scoring four goals and assisting on another against the Irish and then netting two goals and assisting on three against the Tar Heels.

With the completion of the conference tournament, the Eagles now wait for the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, May 7, when they hope to earn an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament.
