Rapp, Reineke Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Brian Rapp (baseball) and senior Erike Reineke (sailing) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.

Rapp threw his first-career complete game en route to the Eagles' sweep of NC State on Sunday. He allowed just five base runners on the day and none advanced past first base. He struck out six in BC's first shutout of the season. It was the Eagles' first ACC series sweep since April 2015.

Reineke was named NEISA Sailor of the Year following the Reed Trophy Regatta last weekend. It was the second time she earned sailor of the year honors. The only other sailor to earn the honor twice was former Eagle and U.S. Olympian Annie Haeger. Reineke and Allison Ferraris placed first in the NEISA Women's Championship over the weekend.

Baseball (16-22, 6-15 ACC) is at Bryant on Wednesday before hosting Miami this weekend for three games. Sailing will take part in the NEISA Coed Championship this weekend.
