Eagles Seeded Fifth in ACC Tournament

Rematch against Notre Dame slated for 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 27.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College earned the fifth seed in the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship, which will take place on April 27-30 in Richmond, Va. Full Bracket
The Eagles (12-5, 3-4 ACC) will play No. 4 Notre Dame (11-6, 4-3 ACC) in the second game of the tournament on Thursday at 2 p.m. BC topped the Irish, 16-10, Saturday, April 22, in the teams' regular-season meeting.
Other quarterfinal matchups include No.1 North Carolina (13-2, 6-1 ACC) taking on No. 8 seed Duke (8-8, 1-6 ACC), No. 2 seed Syracuse (13-5, 5-2 ACC) playing No. 7 seed Virginia Tech (11-7, 2-5 ACC) and No. 3 Virginia (10-7, 4-3 ACC) against No. 6 Louisville (11-6, 3-4 ACC).
North Carolina and Duke will open the tournament playing at 11 a.m., followed by BC-Notre Dame.
The Syracuse – Virginia Tech game is slated for a 5 p.m. start, while Virginia and Louisville will close out quarterfinal action at approximately 8 p.m.
The four winners will meet in the semifinals on Friday, April 28 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and the ACC Championship title game is set for Sunday, April 30 at 1 p.m.
All seven games of the tournament will be televised on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks (RSN) and will also be available on ACC Network Extra. Local Listings
