Coffey Helps US Women's U-20 Team To 2-1 Record

Boston College incoming rookie Samantha Coffey finished a three-game tour with the Under-20 US Women's National Team in La Manga, Spain this week. Coffey and her teammates went 2-1 with wins over Norway and France and a loss to Germany.
This past week, Coffey entered the game in the second half against Norway in the tournament opener. Coffey assisted on the USA's fourth goal in the 60th minute. The US won the game, 8-2.
In the second game against Germany, Coffey started the game and played 46 minutes. The US lost the game, 2-1, as Germany scored two goals in the first 30 minutes. Coffey did not play in the final game.
Coffey, who will join the Eagles in August for the 2017 season, was recently with the Under-19 team in January. She was a four-time MVP and three-time league Player of the Year at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She finished her career with over 100 goals in high school.
