BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Tatiana Cortez set BC's program record for career home runs, hitting the 42nd of her career in the first game of the doubleheader. She surpassed Tory Speer (class of 2014) for the all-time record with her team-leading eighth home run of the season.
- Cortez hit 2-for-4 with two walks in Saturday's games.
- Junior Jessica Dreswick (11-5) allowed only earned runs in 8.1 innings in the doubleheader, reducing her ERA to 2.30.
- Senior Jordan Weed allowed only one earned run and two hits in four innings in the first of Saturday's games.
- Junior Chloe Sharabba went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs. Sharabba has hit five home runs.
- Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele recorded five RBI in the series.
- The Eagles have gone 2-1 in each of their first two ACC series.

- The Panthers loaded the bases in the second. Erin Hershman singled to center to give Pitt a 1-0 lead.
- Pitt's Olivia Gray hit a solo home run to extend the Panthers' lead to 2-0 in the third.
- Cortez led off the fourth with a single to right. Then Sharabba hit a home run to left center to tie the game, 2-2.
- Pitt extended its lead in the sixth after Taylor's go-ahead run. Valerie Ortega hit an infield single and then advanced to third on an error in the inning. Kaitlin Manuel singled to score Ortega for a 4-2 Pitt lead.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Following Cortez's solo shot, Sharabba singled and reached third on an error. Sophomore Allyson Moore walked. Then DiEmmanuele singled up the middle to score Sharabba and give BC a 2-0 lead.
- Sophomore Carly Severini singled to shortstop to load the bases. Senior Madison Paulson reached base, and Pitt threw Moore out at home. Senior Taylor Coroneos then hit a sacrifice grounder to third to score DiEmmanuele in BC's three-run stretch.
- BC added another run in the third for a 4-0 lead. Cortez was hit by a pitch, and Sharabba walked. DiEmmanuele singled up the middle to score Cortez.
- Pitt scored two runs in the game. Hannah Edwards hit an RBI triple in the third. Then Alexee Haynes scored on an error in the fifth to make it a 4-2 BC lead.
- Dreswick retired Pitt's last seven batters, finishing the game without allowing an earned run in three innings.
