This will be the third time Boston College and Monmouth meet and the first time since 2001.

The teams last met on April 29, 2001, at The Heights. BC earned the victory, 11-10.
BC led at the half 5-2 and traded off goals throughout the second frame to make it a 10-7 game in favor of the Eagles with 11:32 left to play.
Monmouth scored the next three goals to tie the game at 10.
