Coach Trezza Recaps Weekend, Looks Towards Spring Break Trip

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College associate head coach Alex Trezza sat in for head coach Mike Gambino to talk about the Eagles' weekend at Oklahoma, where they won two of the three games, defeating Northern Illinois and Villanova, and to preview the upcoming spring break trip to Florida. The Eagles' starting pitching of sophomores RHP Jacob Stevens and LHP Dan Metzdorf and freshman RHP Matt Gill were outstanding while the BC bats came alive, recording a .320 batting average with 33 hits and 23 runs. The Eagles will play eight games over spring break - five in the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla., and three at No. 2 Florida State to open Atlantic Coast Conference play.
