
Eagles split doubleheader against Louisville, SNHU

Austin wins his fourth straight singles match
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Louisville men's tennis team defeated Boston College, 6-1, in Sunday's ACC match at the Flynn Recreation Complex. BC also defeated Southern New Hampshire, 7-0, in Sunday's doubleheader.
Against Louisville, freshman Derek Austin earned a victory in third singles for BC (3-4, 0-2 ACC), defeating Louisville's Nicolas Rouanet 6-1, 7-6. Austin has won his last three singles matches.
Louisville advanced to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in ACC play.
Against SNHU, BC won the doubles point and every singles match. Austin, junior Jeffrey Melvin and freshman Alexander Chieffalo went 2-0 in the contest, winning both their singles and doubles matches.
The Eagles next travel to Pacific Coast Doubles from March 3-5 in La Jolla, Calif.
