
Four Go 2-0 in Victory Against BU

McNulty, Workman, Austin, Mullins win in singles and doubles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team defeated Boston University, 6-1, in a home nonconference match at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The Eagles (2-3) won five singles matches and swept doubles play. Senior Aidan McNulty, senior Hank Workman, freshman Derek Austin and freshman Sean Mullins all went 2-0 against the Terriers (3-6), winning both their singles and doubles matches.
Junior Kent Mukai pulled off a comeback to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-0 in fifth singles.
Austin and Mullins earned a 6-0 victory on the No. 3 court in doubles. They followed with straight-set victories in singles. Austin won 6-3, 7-5 in third singles. Mullins won 6-2, 6-2 in fifth singles.
BC has won two of its last three matches. The Eagles continue with their first ACC home match of the season, hosting Louisville on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
