Eagles Ready for NCAA Northeast Regional

BC travels to Buffalo, N.Y. to compete in the 10K race
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country team will compete at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11:00 a.m. in Buffalo, N.Y.
The Eagles will be running the 6K course against 39 other teams. ACC rival Syracuse will be in attendance as will cross-town competitors, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern.
Eleven student-athletes will be competing for the Eagles, including sophomore Paige Duca, senior Ashbrook Gwinn, sophomore Chloe Hautiere, junior Delia Hayes, senior Laura Leff, junior Sarah Marvin, senior Clarissa Modde, freshman Kylee Raftis, freshman Colleen Sliney, freshman Miranda Thompson and freshman Lauren White.
Last year at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., BC finished in 13th place overall out of 37 teams at the regional meet. Duca finished in 11th place with a time of 20:46.88 in the 6K race.
Providence was the team champion last year and Elinor Purrier of New Hampshire was the top individual finisher.
