Ferraris, Lynn, Sinks and Wadell Named NEISA Sailors of the Week

Squad takes honors following ICSA Match Race National Championship.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Behind their championship performance this past weekend, Boston College sailors Tara Ferraris, Peter Lynn, Scott Sinks and Wade Wadell earned honors as the NEISA Sailors of the Week for the final week of competition for the fall sailing season.

The contingent earned the second national championship in as many weeks for Boston College sailing with their performance in South Carolina, following freshman Sophia Reineke's win in the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship on the waters of St. Petersburg, Fla., last weekend.

Ferraris, Lynn, Sinks and Wadell capped their victory by defeating hosts College of Charleston by a score of 3-1 in the final round of racing. The team's efforts saw the Eagles win their second Match Race National Championship, the last coming in 2010.
