Ian Ritchie crossed the line first for the Eagles
Buffalo, N.Y. – The Boston College men's cross country team finished in 29th place at the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Cross Country Championships with 780 points.

The men finished in front of Quinnipiac, Holy Cross, Hofstra, Bryant, Colgate, Fairfield, Hartford and St. Bonaventure in the 10K race.

The Eagles finished with an average time of 35:04 to conclude the season.

BC Highlights:
- Sophomore Ian Ritchie crossed the line first for the Eagles in 117th place in a field of 254 runners with a time of 34:23.6.
- Junior Sean Burke was close behind at 125th place, finishing in 34:33.1
- Senior Brian McDavitt finished off his cross country career with a 155th place finish and a time of 34:54.8.
- Freshman Kyle Faddis crossed the line at 35:22.7 and junior Benjamin Osipow finished the 10K in 36:10.7 to round out the top five scoring for the Eagles.
- Sophomores Sean Sullivan and Zachary Beston crossed the line at 36:40.1 and 36:50.6.
Race Highlights:
- Syracuse won the meet with 28 points.
- Senior Justyn Knight of Syracuse was the top individual finisher with a time of 31:43.4.
