Eagles Fall to Bryant

The Boston College women's swim team lost to Bryant, 156-144, this past weekend on the campus of Bryant University. The men's team also had a strong showing but ultimately fell to the Bulldogs, 161-137.
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Men
-Will Suchy and Zander Santana placed first and second, respectively, in the 1000 freestyle.
-Mike Hinton took first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:46.34.
-Colin O'Leary and Daniel Creighton placed first and second in the 100 backstroke, with times of 52.73 and 53.41.
-Robert McCrory earned a personal best performance in the 3m diving event with a final score of 271.05.
Women
-The women's results came down to the final relay. The Eagles shaved three seconds off of their 400 freestyle relay time from last season but lost despite a 3:38.26 final time.
-Taylor Covington placed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.78.
-Victoria Lin took first in both the 100 and the 200 yard butterfly while Kristi Fecarotta won the 500 freestyle with her personal best time of 5:16.25.
-Freshman Ellie Uhl was the performer of the meet, as she placed first in the 1m diving with a score of 240.14.

The Eagles will host the Northeast Catholic Invitational on October 13-14.
