Ben Ruffing raced for the Eagles
 Boston, Mass. – Individual runners of the Boston college men's cross country team competed at the New England Championships in Franklin Park on Saturday, Oct. 7.

With the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet on the schedule for Oct. 14, head coach Matt Kerr wanted to give athletes that have competed the past two weeks in a row a break.

Freshman Ben Ruffing, who is trying to earn a spot on the travel roster for Pre-Nationals and the ACC Championships, raced for the Eagles in the 8K. He finished in 146th place with a time of 28:08.3, averaging 5:39.6 per mile.
