The Eagles return to Franklin Park
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – On Saturday, Oct. 7 the Boston College women's cross country team will participate in the 105th Annual New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
The Eagles did not compete at this meet last year, but in the last 15 years, the women have won the NEICAAA meet six times.
The women will race against 36 teams. The women's varsity 5K race is scheduled to go off at 11:45 a.m.
Six Eagles broke 19 minutes on the same course on Sept. 22 at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown. Junior Ashbrook Gwinn, who crossed the line first for the Eagles with a time of 17:35, looks to have another strong performance this weekend. Classmate Clarissa Modde, freshman Lauren White, sophomore Paige Duca and freshman Kylee Raftis rounded out the scoring for the Eagles as the team finished in 10th place overall.
The results for the race will be posted on the NEICAAA website.
